Forró in LA hosts it’s first “FESTA JUNINA Fest 2015”
June 28th from 3-9pm
Featuring live Forró and Quadrilha music by MoForro!
What would Festa Junina (Party in June) without the “Quadrilha” (loosely translated as Brazilian Square Dance) with Mestre Badaró (Viver Brasil) who will be leading and calling all those moves?
Fabio and Andrea, our Forró in LA couple instructors extraordinaire, doing a demo and teaching us some fun steps to get us going on the Forró dance floor! and a special presentation by students from Forró in LA class.
Andrea Lopasso will be hhosting a workshop on the history of Forró in the gallery.
REYES (disguised Forrozeiro with his hat), spins traditional and new Forr music to keep us having fun on the Tropico de Nopal Gallery Art-Space dance floor!
