They are back!!! Daniel Ribeiro and Clarisse Ricci will be teaching a workshop before our forró party! And yes, Forró music selections by Reyes through the nite, and a fun Forró inspired scavenger-hunt too!
The crowd loved Daniel and Clarisse’s first workshop as part of Forró in LA last Dec ’15. Something about the “suave” embrace-floor-movement that they taught left us all wanting some more. So, we expect to have another great workshop, adding new steps to our dance language of Forró. This dynamic duo has taught many Forró classes and workshops in Brazil and neighboring countries. Their emphasis is on teaching foot and legwork while keeping the partner connection and enjoying a smooth command of the floor (traveling) with grace and style.
Doors open at 8pm. Workshop 8-9:30pm ($10)
So, in the Easter spirit, be ready to dance and also find some hidden prizes… Who knows what you may find :-)
