Superfoods fight infection, enhance your immune system, and protect against diseases such as osteoporosis, heart disease, certain cancers, diabetes, and respiratory infections. You will learn about a special group of superfoods and how to implement them into your daily life through smoothies, salads, and more. Jenny will demonstrate delicious smoothie recipes and talk about the specific benefits of each superfood. 3:00 PM Workshop #2: “Detoxing 101” by Sirenita del Mar, PhD, food justice activist Have you been feeling sluggish, lethargic and inactive? A one week detox could help you jump start your health and feel more alive and vibrant.
