2:00 Workshop #1 “Everything Coconut”
*Coconut is a healer and a palate pleaser, learn not only the vast amount of benefits coconut offers but also how to prepare it in a variety of ways, including making a baby formula with it, entrees, and using it to detox.
Chrissy Bear is professional chef & mother specializing in designing delicious food for optimal well being for all ages. Her approach with food is to utilize the art of health, promoting food preparation to entice the senses and remind one of the exotic and sensational flavors food has in its natural state.
3:00 Workshop #2 “Qi Gong: Intro to Self Regulation”
*Sonny Batata of Bilongo Healing Arts, will giving an introduction to Qi Gong and Self Regulation. Qi Gong is term used in China to define breathing and movement exercises that invigorate the body and spirit and to strengthen the”Qi” or energy of the body. There are various Qi Gong forms, but Sonny will present a form that is simple and effective. You will be able to utilize after learning.
Sonny is licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. He also a initiated “Nganga” in the Kongo traditon. He utilizes the elements of both to work with people that have “spirit disorders” deriving from trauma and other foreign influences
