Tropico de Nopal Gallery-Art Space proudly opens its door to exhibit "Ofrendas 2003" - Dia de Muertos / Day of the Dead Altar-Installations.
Tropico de Nopal has invited 5 artists that cover the wide spectrum of art in the Chicano/a Latino/a Los Angeles community: Roberto L. Delgado, Alma Lopez, Daniel P. Márquez, Oscar Sanabria and Linda Vallejo, will bring their talents and traditions to create altars that will reflect great diversity in subject and styles.
The opening reception evening will be culminate with a Calavera Fashion Show - fashions specially designed for this occasion based on the Day of the Dead by Diane Gamboa, Zoe Aguirre, Margaret Guzmán, Orchid Velasquez , Eriberto and Angelica among other artists.
